Pregnancy Massage

Pregnancy places unique demands on your body. Changes in hormones, changes in posture and simply carrying the weight of a baby all add up to a lot of hard work for your body.

Massage is great for relieving the muscular soreness, postural issues and joint pain associated with being and becoming a new Mum.

Mobile massage is even better! You’ve probably got a lot on your hands. Relax at home and we’ll come to you to give you a rejuvenating relaxation or remedial massage.

We come with a special belly cushion so you can enjoy a massage as normal, lying face down on the table if you wish. You may also have your massage lying on your side.

Massage during pregnancy can help with:

• Reducing anxiety
• Back aches
• Shoulder aches
• Joint pain
• Nerve pain
• Swelling in the legs and ankles
• Blood and lymphatic flow
• Sleeping at night

Frequency of massage

Have massage as frequently as you require. This may be mean half a dozen sessions during and after your pregnancy. If you suffer or are beginning to suffer from strong muscular aches and pains then weekly or twice-weekly sessions may be best.

Safety

Musclefix recommends that you talk with your doctor or primary health carer about whether massage is suitable for you.
