Where We Massage

Home Massage

We come to your house, apartment, unit or townhouse and set up a massage table in whichever room you would like. We bring everything needed. Relax in the comfort of your own home. It’s as easy as ordering pizza yet 10 times more healthy. Busy at work? Busy looking after kids? Can’t find time? You have no excuse now that you’ve found us!

Office Massage

A great way of rewarding and motivating staff. Musclefix can dissolve the tightest shoulders and ease the most stressed minds in minutes! Corporate massage will help to reduce the incidence of headaches and increase productivity. We can even help to pick-up on problems before they become injuries! Choose between seated massage, table massage or a combination of both.

Hotel Massage

We can set up a massage table in your hotel room and fix any aches, pains and fatigue from travelling. We are available from 6am right through until midnight.

Events Massage

Whether professional, elite or amateur, Musclefix can be on the sidelines providing pre-event warm-up massage, massage during and post-event. Massage at sports events can help reduce the likelihood of ‘pulled-muscles’ and other injuries and assist with preventing or relieving cramps mid-competition. Massage right after an event can greatly reduce Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS) and reduce tightening and stiffening of the body.

Hospital Massage

Massage can form a vital part of your recovery. We can consult with your medical and rehabilitation team on the best way to treat you with remedial massage. Working closely with your physiotherapist or doctor, we can help to loosen up tightened muscle, tendons and ligaments, and smooth out scar tissue.

Step 1 — Arrival

Your Musclefix massage therapist will arrive dressed neatly in uniform with portable massage equipment and towel bag. You will be greeted politely and a business card handed to you. You may then invite the therapist in and show them to the area you have cleared for the massage. In the home this can be a spare room, lounge room by the heater, a bedroom, or any space you are comfortable with.

Your comfort is extremely important to us. You are more than welcome to have a friend or family member/s present in your home during your appointment.

Step 2 — Consultation

Your therapist will setup up the massage table and towels while you complete a form regarding your health and what problems you would like the massage to help address. Your therapist will discuss with you your needs, any injuries or health concerns you may have, and what areas you would like massaged. We may assess and identify an injury if you have one.

The therapist will leave the room while you get settled on the massage table. The areas you would like massaged will determine what layers of clothing you will shed.

Step 3 — The massage

Your therapist will enter the room and begin the massage as discussed with you. The massage belongs to you so feel free to speak up if it’s too firm, too light or if we’re doing a massage technique you really like.

Step 4 — Post-massage

Your therapist will use a sink to wash their hands while you get dressed or robed. You can take your time. You might be a bit relaxed. We will talk with you about what you need in the future, be it more massage, stretches, exercises or possibly referral to a Physiotherapist, Osteopath or Chiropractor. You can make another booking with the therapist on the spot if you wish.

Step 5 — Payment

Your therapist will take payment by cash, debit card (EFTPOS) or via credit cards from Visa, MasterCard or American Express. A receipt/invoice will be emailed to you instantly upon completion of the transaction.

Step 6 — Good-bye

Your therapist will pack up, wish you well and leave you with some reading material and a new client gift pack. You can then sit back and relax on the couch with a cup of tea – no traffic, rain or hot or cold weather to face after your massage!
