Booking
You may call 1300 725 110 to make an appointment or you can request a massage appointment time via the enquiry form and we will call you to confirm. While on the phone with you we will discuss which massage would suit you best. We will confirm which therapist will see you and when, take your name, address, email address and birthday. We will read to you our terms and conditions before completing the booking. You will receive instant email confirmation of your appointment.
Getting there
How to get there? Don’t worry about that, that’s our problem! You just head home from work and relax and we’ll see you there in a few hours.
Greeting your therapist at home or in your hotel
Your professional massage therapist will arrive at your door dressed neatly in uniform with a portable massage table and towel bag. You will be greeted politely and a business card handed to you. You may then invite the therapist in and show him or her to the space you have cleared for the massage. In the home this can be a spare room, the lounge room by the heater, a bedroom or any space you are comfortable with.
Feeling comfortable
All Musclefix therapists are career-focused, professional practitioners. We are accredited by and members of associations such as the Australian Association of Massage Therapists and Sports Medicine Australia. We can be trusted in caring for you. If you would like to feel even more secure in inviting one of our team members into your home simply have a friend or family member/s present in your home during your appointment.
Consultation
Your therapist sets up the massage table and towels while you fill in a form about your health and what you would like the massage to help fix. Your therapist will discuss with you your needs, any injuries or health concerns you may have and what areas you would like massaged. We may assess and identify an injury if you have one.
Just like with a massage in a clinic, the therapist will leave the room while you get settled on the comfortable massage table under a large, fluffy towel. The areas you would like massaged will determine what layers of clothing you will shed.
The massage
Now for the best part, the massage! Your therapist will enter the room and begin the massage as discussed with you. The massage belongs to you so feel free to speak up if it’s too firm, too light or if we’re doing a massage technique you really like!
Post-massage
Your therapist will borrow a sink to wash their hands while you get dressed or robed. You can take your time. You might be a bit relaxed. We will talk with you about what you need in the future be it more massage, stretches, exercises or possibly referral to a Physiotherapist, Osteopath or Chiropractor. You can make another booking with the therapist on the spot if you wish.
Payment
Your therapist will take payment by cash, debit card (EFTPOS) or via credit cards from Visa, MasterCard or American Express. A receipt/invoice will be emailed to you instantly upon completion of the transaction.
Good-bye
Your therapist will pack up, wish you well and leave you with some reading material and a new client gift pack. You can then sit back and relax on the couch with a cup of tea – no traffic, rain or hot or cold weather to face after your massage!
